The Border Police of Haute-Corse is present on the port of Bastia as part of the direct connections with one of the member states of the Convention implementing the agreement of the SCHENGEN to get to know Italy. Its mission, in close collaboration with the Customs Service, is the control of migratory flows and cross-border movement. It carries out various checks on the arrival and departure of the ships touching the port of Bastia.
